Collection: BEGINNERS Sketch Club (11 - 15 yrs)

A weekly one hour studio session for beginner students to become confident with quick sketching as well as an introduction to a variety of mark making techniques, in preparation for continuing with our intermediate or advanced term program. A broad range of reference subjects from food to animals and even Manga characters ensures an eclectic selection to maintain artists' interest.

Sketch Club focuses on visualisation strategies and spatial reasoning therefore improving new artists' ability to draw quickly and accurately. Students are encouraged to make quick sketching a daily habit. Spending as little as 15 minutes a day sketching quickly adds up in the 'confidence bank'.

Students require their own materials kit for use in the studio and at home

PLEASE NOTE: This is a term program which is time-limited/date specific and there are no 'make-up' sessions or credits brought forward to the following term for missed classes, regardless of reason for absence. Term fees will not be adjusted for planned absences as your child’s place in the program is reserved for the entirety of the term program. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a class, an alternative date and time will be scheduled during the term. Unfortunately we do not offer ‘trial’ classes.
